FAMRV LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 14, 2026
FAMRV LLC (“FamRV,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit famrvrental.com (the “Site”), contact us, or rent a vehicle from us; how we use and share it; and the choices and rights you have. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Who we are & scope
FAMRV LLC is the business responsible for your personal information. Our address is 8344 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324. This policy applies to information we collect online and offline in connection with our RV rental services. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, which have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Booking requests and inquiries: name, phone number, email address, trip dates, number of guests, and anything you write in your message.
- Rental information: driver's license details and images, date of birth, home address, information about additional drivers, emergency contact, proof of insurance, and signatures on the Rental Agreement.
- Payment information: card details are entered with and processed by our payment processors. We may receive and keep limited information such as card type, last four digits, billing address and transaction records.
- Communications: emails, texts, calls, reviews, photos and feedback you send us.
Information created during your rental
- Vehicle condition reports and photos, mileage, fuel and generator readings, damage and incident reports, police reports, and insurance claim information.
- Records of tickets, tolls and fines connected to the Vehicle during your rental.
Information collected automatically
- When you visit the Site, our hosting, security and content delivery providers automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and date and time of access. This is used to deliver, secure and improve the Site.
- Analytics and advertising tags from Google and Meta collect similar information plus cookie and device identifiers, how you use the Site, and the ad you clicked to reach us (see Section 6). When you submit a booking request, we also record that ad click and the page you first landed on.
Information from others
- Driver record or identity verification providers (with your authorization), insurers, payment processors, toll and parking authorities, law enforcement, and people you list as additional drivers.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and booking requests and confirm availability.
- Verify identity, age and driving eligibility, and prevent fraud, theft and misuse of our vehicles.
- Prepare, deliver and manage your rental, and provide customer support.
- Process payments, deposits, refunds and charges under the Rental Agreement.
- Handle accidents, roadside assistance, damage, insurance claims, tickets and tolls.
- Send booking confirmations, reminders and service messages, and — with your consent — occasional offers.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Site and our services.
- Advertise our rentals and measure which ads and campaigns lead to booking requests and calls (see Sections 5 and 6).
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims, including payment disputes.
5. Sale & sharing for advertising
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to show our ads and measure whether they lead to booking requests. Under California law, letting these companies collect information on our Site for advertising may be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The categories involved are identifiers (cookie and device IDs, IP address, hashed email and phone) and internet activity on the Site.
You can opt out at any time: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use the button below. Either way, we stop loading the Google Ads and Meta advertising tags in that browser and do not send your booking request to Meta. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
7. Vehicle location technology
Our vehicles may be equipped with GPS, telematics or similar technology. If so, we do not use it to monitor your trip in real time. We access location or vehicle data only as permitted by law, such as when the Vehicle is reported or suspected stolen, is abandoned or significantly overdue, when you request roadside assistance, in response to an emergency or AMBER Alert, or as required by a court order or law enforcement request. We will tell you at pick-up if the Vehicle you rent is so equipped.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. In general: inquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 2 years; rental, payment and incident records are kept for up to 7 years after the rental to meet tax, insurance and legal obligations and to handle claims; copies of driver's licenses are kept no longer than needed for the rental and any related claim. Information subject to a legal hold or open claim may be kept longer.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and limited access to customer records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send full card numbers or sensitive documents by regular email — we will provide a secure method when we need them. If we learn of a security breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
10. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), to the extent it applies to us. We honor these requests from all customers regardless of whether the CCPA applies.
- Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax, insurance, legal claims or security).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising — use Global Privacy Control or the button in Section 5.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We use sensitive information (such as driver's license details) only for purposes permitted by law, such as providing the rental and preventing fraud, so this right does not require further action.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge different prices or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code §1798.83 lets California residents request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
11. How to exercise your rights
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call (818) 925-1555. To protect your information, we will verify your identity by matching information you provide with information we hold (for example, your name, email or phone, and booking dates). You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of the agent's authority and verify your identity directly. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more days. If we deny a request, we will explain why.

14. Children
The Site and our rental services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Information about minors traveling as passengers is collected only from the adult renter as needed for the rental.
15. Visitors outside California
We operate in the United States and our records are stored in the United States. Residents of other states with privacy laws may contact us to exercise similar rights, and we will honor requests as required by applicable law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with an updated effective date, and if the changes are material we will provide additional notice where required by law.
